Member DragonClaws Posted February 10, 2019 Author Member Share Posted February 10, 2019 (edited) Quote Your interest in martial arts continues? I’m doing great in martial arts; it has given me an opportunity to sign up with an agency in LA. The opportunity an actress gets in Hollywood is something that you don’t get in Bollywood. But I will do a Hollywood film only if it’s an action movie. There, you get such opportunities. I have been doing the ground work for this for the past two-three years, and finally, I am all set to start working there. I am currently the brand ambassador of Taekwondo India. Member Shosetsu Posted February 10, 2019 Member Share Posted February 10, 2019 That Chandra was a nice surprise to me, @DragonClaws because it was the first time I saw a martial-lady from India. The only other time I ran across India martial arts was when I saw a Sword called a Talwar. That Indian Sword sticks out in my mind because I remember it had the distinctive characteristic of the blade's tip. Instead of the blade tapering at its tip, it widens. There is also a market demand for Indian Swords as antiques, so I might be tempted to get into them too.

Member DragonClaws Posted February 17, 2019 Author Member Share Posted February 17, 2019 (edited) Great, positive, words from Mia Kang, no man or woman, should be led to think they are fat, just because the film/model/adverstisement industry, has such big issues on weight. The camera lens might add pounds, but that's no reason to starve yourself, to attain, someone elses version of perfect etc. Quote Left: 3 years ago. Thought I was fat. Told by my industry that I should be skinnier. Hated myself. Right: Now. I am a strong and educated woman that I am proud of. Martial Arts saved my life. And the industry needs to make room for those of us between sample and plus size. I might be mistaken but I think that is Cambodian Martial Artist Chenda Roth in the pic, unless she also goes by an other name. I remember seeing this set of pics (and also with her posing with another female) a few years back - I think it was part of a photo shoot. I will have to find my Bokator pics to verify.

Thanks @thekfc, it would be cool if you could verify if it is her?, as you know, some Asian performers can have multiple screen names.
