That's a pretty cool article. Let's not forget that female martial arts stars have dated before the 1950's. Fen Juhua and Chin Tsi-Ang are two examples who emerged in the 1920's and 30's. Also Tam Sau-Zhen, who played Fong Sai-Yuk's mother in the 1938 film The Adventures of Fong Sai-Yuk.
