Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant are currently working on the script and Warner Bros., who got the rights from Brock Yates, the Hal Needham Estate, and Fortune Star Inc., are negotiating with Central Intelligence helmer Rawson Marshall Thurber to direct. http://variety.com/2017/film/news/cannonball-run-reboot-director-rawson-thurber-1202463255/ Which brings me to this question...I know a ton of us are not up for reboots these days, but considering that the could be an ensemble piece like the original film, who would you like to see in a modern day Cannonball Run.
