Meshing the gambling comedy with their trademark Hong Kong-style action, Martial Club's latest short film is a hoot with Andy Le doing one of the craziest flip stunts in the ensuing fight scene

I love most of Martial Club's short films and this is no exception. However, I do think they overdid it with the powder. We get it, 80's kung fu cinema used a lot of powder to emphasize blows, but they never used this much. It really took me out the video upon first watch.

With that said, great stuff. Their hand-to-hand exchanges are some of the best around. Intricate, filled with classic shapes... It's always fun to watch these dudes go at each other.

Yeah, they got heavy-handed with the chalk, but man alive! Outstanding choreography, and that little bit of shapes work at the end was fun to watch. These guys need to do a compilation dvd of their videos. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.
