Member reason108 Posted May 29, 2017 Member Share Posted May 29, 2017 Interesting piece. I wish there was more of it. I have the interview with Yuen Wah, but, where did the other interviews come from?

I'm unable to name the source of those interviews, from some unseen(in the West at least) Asian T.V program or documentary about the Little Dragon.

The guy did have a lot of physical talent, probably one the reason Bruce Lee chooose him as his double for all the flips in FOF/ETD. Yuen Wah takes flight in Enter The Dragon.

On one of the ads for ETD, Bruce got a credit for staging "flight" sequences.
Member Coliseum1972 Posted June 24, 2023 Member Share Posted June 24, 2023 Wednesday marks 50 anniversary german premiere.......I wish there were foreign movie reviews to read , from german/french/italian/spanish showings back then alas itd be very difficult to find them
Member Coliseum1972 Posted July 23, 2023 Member Share Posted July 23, 2023 first issue flyers , vhtf , rarer than the german movie posters i think.....no "ein echter BL" tagline , that wasnt used until mid & late 70s reissues. Cheap newspaper stock. (Way didnt use "ein echter tagline" but 1st issue lobbys were on cardboard , late 70s reissue on thin paper)
Member Killer Meteor Posted July 25, 2023 Member Share Posted July 25, 2023 Jackie Chan's "autobiography" has Sammo working on FIST OF FURY as an action director...I assume this is baloney, like half the stuff in that book!
Member Cheer You On Posted July 26, 2023 Member Share Posted July 26, 2023 I can't believe Matthew Polly used that book to include an anecdote of Bruce yelling at Lo Wei on set. There's an interview that a stuntman did where he claimed, 15 minutes into the below video, that nothing serious happened between the two on set.
Member Killer Meteor Posted July 26, 2023 Member Share Posted July 26, 2023 I think the argument in Jackie's book is basically the one that took place in the summer of 73, only without Bruce pulling a knife on Lo.
