I tried to include every relevant movie that could conceivably be chosen as a favorite, but avoided the truly crappy ones (unless it's one that some consider a guilty pleasure) or the really obscure ones. Apologies in advance if I missed your favorite, and I could possibly modify the poll if you let me know (it's the first time I do polls on this site).  I'm also thinking of doing a top 3 per year, as some years were simply overflowing with classics.  But I believe that would have to be manually calculated.

Not sure if this will work well or not, but any suggestions welcome!

1997:

I chose Hero. The only other movies I've seen in 1997 were Mr Nice Guy and Once Upon a Time in China and America, so Hero was an easy choice. I've only seen a couple fight scenes from Drive. Looks like a lot of fun.

1998:

I chose Who Am I?

1999:

Definitely The Matrix. Great martial arts movie.

Can't go wrong with the 90s. This is where the films become obsessive to me. Am I right?

Curiosity got the best of me; I watched Drive for the first time yesterday. I posted my thoughts here...

1997 Mr Nice Guy (I was struggling to choose between Mr Nice Guy and Drive but in the end I went for Mr Nice Guy since it has fewer votes.)

1998 Who Am I?

1999 The Matrix

1997-Mr Nice Guy: Jackie Chan is one of my favorite actors, so this was an easy choice. I've never seen "Drive", but I like Mark Dacascos too, so I will be checking it out.

1998-Rush Hour: Its one of my favorite film series(except the third movie) of all time. So nothing else stood a chance.

1999-Matrix: This was kind of a no brainer. Its one of the greatest films of all time.
