We are all well aware of the so called 'Seven Little Fortunes'.

My question is:

How many of the most famous female kung fu stars were graduates from opera school training?

Thanks,

GD Y-Y

Connie Chan Po-Chu (she's known as a versatile artist, having done all genres, but has had her share of kung fu like the still below). Her teacher is the late Fen Juhua (Fan Fok-Fa)

This is from Return of Lady Bond (1966), choreographed by Lau Kar-Leung and Tang Chia.

The Lizard (1972) - also her last film according to HKMDB

Did Linda Lin Ying(Drunken Master) come from an opera background?. I've been unable to find any information online to confirm this.

Lin Ying in an early role.
