There's a bit of swordplay at the end, but overall you should buy it expecting a good little drama. It was the film that made me cringe at Toshiro Mifune's barehanded fighting skills. It was most likely scripted to look like that, but it was a shock after seeing him cut down people in movies like Yojimbo and Samurai Rebellion.
