I just heard about this indie feature Muay Thai/romance story from first time director Nick Sasso (a visual effects artist), who is also starring in the lead role of a retired Muay Thai fighter turned bouncer who rescues a transgender performer (Nomi Ruiz) from thugs and he soon becomes her bodyguard, protector, and confidant. This eventually will lead Sasso's character back in the fight circuit, with everything at risk. Here are a few photos but not of the action sorts...more the drama side. Zoe Bell, John Ventimiglia, and D.B. Sweeney co-star.

I talked with Nick Sasso and we talked about working with acting legend D.B. Sweeney (who served as an acting mentor to Sasso off-set), Zoe Bell, and Nomi Ruiz as well as being able to showcase his skills in Muay Thai, having trained for 15 years and how different it was to transition to film fighting with help from Bell and some tidbits and Easter eggs mixed in.
