I was told that the original japanese versions have unseen footage but it is in japanese and no english subs. I know the Zatoichis were released there, but I haven't heard anything about LW&Cs being made available there. I know that the original trailers for the LW&C flicks, with the exception of Baby Cart To Hades, were included on the Animeigo DVDs. Many of those trailers have alternate takes/scenes not in the movies. Part of the english trailer for Baby Cart To Hades, under the title of Lightning Swords of Death, is on the Kung Fu Mania DVD, and that shows alternate footage not in the film itself.
