Member AlbertV Posted April 24, 2017 Member Share Posted April 24, 2017 Alexander Nevsky in 2014 made his directorial debut on this thriller that melds mystery, action, and horror. When a mysterious killer begins hunting down Russian women in the seedy underworld of Hollywood, the L.A.P.D. and the Mayor decide to bring someone in from Russia, who can blend in with the crowds and can help solve the mystery. Enter Major Vladimir Kazatov (Nevsky), one of the best officers who has a rather unorthodox style of dispensing justice. He is partnered with profiler Emily Smith (Kristanna Loken) and together they must solve the mystery in which the titular flower is the killer's calling card. Adrian Paul and Robert Davi co-star. Matthias Hues makes a cameo in the film. The executive producer is Sheldon Lettich, who directed Lionheart, Double Impact, and Only the Strong and wrote Bloodsport and Rambo III.
