Roth is a big fan of Miike's work so he probably offered him to play a bit. Is he there for long or at least does something, like not just a 30 seconds appearance? I thought that the delivery of the line was pretty strange when I saw it and I wondered why they didn;t get someone who spoke english a little better to deliver that line. Makes sense now.
