Here are some lobby cards I got of the movie Imperial tomb raiders, just the kind of movie I would LOVE to be released by any means, in any language !

The clothes and weapons make me think of Downhill they ride and The ammunition hunters and I'm not surprised to see Shan Mao, Sit Hon and Wei Ping Ao playing in it, and I wouldn't be surprised either to learn that Shan Mao plays a villain, Sit Hon plays a righteous villager and Wei Ping Ao a traitor in this movie...

Some of the actresses look familiar, but their names are totally unknow to me...

My guess is:

1: Tso Yen-Yung

2: Chang Ping-Yu

Nice to see you back with the lobby cards !

I didn't remember that Yueh Hua played in this movie, but I remember that, if it's the first movie of the series,  it was the less interersting of all. At least, it was my opinion when i watched it years ago, maybe I would change my mind if I watched it now...

Does it mean that it could be released as dvd ? If so, it's a miracle ! I can't believe it !!!

Just to refresh your memory so you don't have to watch them again....until needed.

Adventures is the 2nd movies in the series, Emperor Chien Lung is the 1st ( to me that one wasn't that enjoyable).

Adventures guest star both Yueh Hua (he played a prince) & Chen Ping (if I remember correctly played his maid).

The Voyages of Emperor Chien Lung had Kara Hui

Emperor Chien Lung and The Beauty had Kara (again)

The Emperor & The Minister had Kara & Ku Feng

@mrtyphoon, welcome to the forum.

I remember to have bought some lobby cards from you on ebay a few months ago, and we had even discussed of trading some of my pictures in double...:bs_smile:

Dang, I'm feeling the green rush of jealousy for not attempting to get these when the opportunity was there.

Looking at these lobby cards is so cool yet so bittersweet because if it wasn't for Shaw's greed, there would have been less suicides and more people staying with the company...thus more movies. There wouldn't have been people leaving to form their own companies, or at least there would have been people forming satellite companies like Jackie Chan's Golden Way and Sammo's Bo Ho. Golden Harvest and Seasonal were the beginning of the end for Shaw, yet Cinema City were the final nail in the coffin.

In particular, looking at the lobby card for Charles Heung's The Big Fellow and the slew of Chen Kuan-Tai cards makes me wish that they did a film together. They look like total bad-asses, and they were the real deal when it came to being real fighters.
