Member Writ Posted February 19, 2017 Member Share Posted February 19, 2017 I absolutely love Johnnie To films so it might be just my opinion, but Three is an amazing film. Like most of To's gangster/police films, world building is very strong and characters are only incidental. Also don't expect it to be action packed, but there is one action sequence which might just be one of the greatest non-martial arts action scenes ever made. If you have even a passing interest in Hong Kong thrillers or Johnnie To, seriously give this one a watch. Even if the rest bores you (which it shouldn't, because it's also damn good stuff), it's worth it just for that one action scene. The scene is that good.
