Harold Sakata, who played Odd Job in the Sean Connery Bond films also had a background in wrestling. Then went on to appear in a few Martial Arts movies, The Ninja Strikes Back with Bruce Le being one of them. Sakata was know where near as tall of course.

Both former surfer Klyn and actor Kilpatrick tower over Van Damme, and both played unstoppable killers. He really doesn't have any starring roles from his brief stint in Hong Kong, however he's definitely worth checking out in 'Women on the Run', and does a great comedic turn in 'No Problem 2'. His role in 'China Strike Force' is pretty throw away (& he said himself he regrets agreeing to be in it), and I've yet to see 'Hero from Beyond the Boundary of Time'. While he did have starring roles in Korea, the movies he made there have rarely been released beyond domestic VHS tapes from back in the day, and are notoriously difficult to get hold of. There are plenty of youtube clips of him in action through from his Korean output.

Here's a more recent shot of Raja Lion, as a member of a circus troupe. Here's another encounter from Bloodfight featuring Bolo up against a giant Sumo wrestler. Member DragonClaws Posted September 11, 2017 Author Member Share Posted September 11, 2017 While the final fight in Cyborg(1989) has been brought up, the movie features a few other David VS Goliath styled encounters. Van Dammes brief battle with the 6'1 220lb Greek Brazilia Jiu-Jitsu expert Stefanos Miltsakakis. He would go onto have a further two screen battles with the Belgium born Martial Artist, in the 1996 movie Maximum Risk. Stefanos far left, in a sequence cut from the official release of Cyborg(1989). Then there's the unique way in which Van Damme overcomes the towering 6'5 former Mr Universe Ralf Moeller(Gladiator, The Bad Pack). Van Damme with Moeller on the set of Cyborg.
