Yahoo Japan has revealed that talks are underway, but nothing is set in stone as of yet as it pertains to Warner Brothers getting the rights to the manga/anime for a US live action version. It has been amplified as a director has already signed on. Andy Muschietti, currently working on It: Chapter Two, will make Attack on Titan his next film as director. He is excited that Andy Muschietti will be helming the film as he reveals he is a fan of Mama and It. In addition, Warner Bros. will be working closely with Kodansha Publishing to bring the version to life after Japan did a 2015 2-part film series that was directed by Shinji Higuchi that was met with mixed reactions.
