Member AlbertV Posted December 12, 2016 Member Share Posted December 12, 2016 Bollywood star Tiger Shroff (born on March 2, 1990) is the son of Bollywood legend Jackie Shroff, who after years of hiatus, returned with roles in Dhoom: 3 and the remake of Warrior titled Brothers playing the role originated by Nick Nolte, the father of the titular brothers. Tiger, whose real name is Jai Hemant Shroff, is a 5th-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and also studied gymnastics. He burst onto the screen in 2014 with Heropanti after actor Aamir Khan recommended him to producer Sajid Nadiadwala. Khan had underwent physical training by Shroff to beef up for his villainous role in Dhoom: 3. Heropanti was a hit at the Hindi Box Office and while the film got mixed reviews, critics praised Shroff for both his dancing skills and his ability to perform his own stunts. Shroff's second film, Baaghi, caused some controversy as the finale was lifted off of the Indonesian film The Raid, and the producers who earned the remake rights of that very film sued Nadiadwala for copyright infringement. However, the lawsuit was ultimately dismissed due to the fact that the movie itself is not a remake of the Raid but only the final fight scene, a twenty-minute brawl out in which Shroff takes on numerous opponents in a high rise building to rescue his love interest. Despite the controversy, Baaghi was a monster hit at the box office. Shroff turned down the opportunity to play the villain opposite Jackie Chan in Kung Fu Yoga and his next film, the superhero comedy A Flying Jatt, wasn't as big at the B.O. like his previous films, but he has two more films in the works nevertheless.
