This book systematically explores the genre and controversially takes a close look at which flicks really should be seen as belonging to it." This sounds like just another Brucesploitation. With contributions from Jack Hunter (Editor), Mikkita Brottman (Introduction & Brief History of Martial Arts Cinema), Kieron Butler (The Big Boss), Brian Harrison (Fist of Fury), Kieren Butler (Way of The Dragon), Andy Lowe (Enter the Dragon & Game of Death). As a 14 year old fan, this had quite a lot of information that was new to me at the time. It made me aware of The Shaw Brothers studios, and Korean movies such as The Crush (1972).. I always felt it could have been done a lot better, with a section on Bruceploitation?. Maybe inclusion of his T.V work, a lot of stuff has been skimmed over. Though this was sold as an illustrated guide to his films. At the time I purchased this, all the images inside were new to me. This might not be the best Bruce Lee book out there, but it was pretty cool to have as a newbie. Quote Intercepting Fist is the only book to deal specifically with Lee's five major movies, and to analyse them with in depth illustrated essays, including a stunning 8-colour section of kung fu action.
