Member AlbertV Posted December 11, 2015 Member Share Posted December 11, 2015 A new martial arts action film is currently in production in St. Petersburg, Florida from the director of The Martial Arts Kid, Michael Baumgarten. It is entitled Paying Mr. McGetty and the lead star of the film is R. Marcos Taylor, who had gotten rave review for his role of Marion "Suge" Knight in the film Straight Outta Compton. Taylor is also a former professional kickboxer and even has a brief role in The Martial Arts Kid taking on Don "The Dragon" Wilson. Speaking of which, Wilson is also in the film, this time playing the villain, a seasoned assassin. John Kreng is serving as the film's stunt coordinator/action director for this one. I first heard about this film in October when I went to the Orlando screening of The Martial Arts Kid. Baumgarten was there and announced that this would be his next film.
