Member Secret Executioner Posted January 8, 2014 Member Share Posted January 8, 2014 I'm a bit curious on that one too. Looks nice (I must have like a couple of films from Taiwan), but hearing a bit more about what's in the film would be cool.
Member ShawAngela Posted January 8, 2014 Member Share Posted January 8, 2014 It's a swordplay movie. James Nam and his men are leading a prisoner to another city and they are attacked by the ancient men of the prisoner (a bandit), while they are also helped by the prisoner's daughter. Actually, the bandits don't want to set free the prisoner but to get something he has hidden from them, even if they must kill him and James Nam has to accept the prsioner's and his daughter's help in order to keep him alive and succeed in his mission... Very good movie. Jamal's print is excellent and the subtitles are very good.
Member GOLDEN DRAGON YIN-YANG Posted December 1, 2015 Author Member Share Posted December 1, 2015 The Ill Wind (1970). Got this 3 years ago and watched it for the second time last night. A no-nonsence serious kung fu epic. Kung fu star James Nam was at his very best. With a great cast of villains around every corner. A very rare treat.James Nam One of Suen Yuet playing a hero and with great swordsmanship in this outing.
