Have started watching and enjoying the "Mute Samurai" series again recently. I had only watched Vol. 1 & 2 and just finished # 3 last weekend. Wakayama is cool as hell in this series. He looks sweet when he has that hat on w/scarf covering most of his face. I gonna try to get a capture of that for my next avatar. My fav episode so far is the last one on Vol. 2. I can't recall the name of the episode at the moment. Its the one where he helps that poor villiage fight some ronin bandits held up in a temple. The bandits have taken their water supply away and are blackmailing them. The first episode of Vol.3 is brutal. I was shocked to see a tv series show those samurai executing the villiage children. Rough stuff for basic television!

I just saw the first 10 episodes of this show and it was great. One of the best series I've ever seen. There are 26 episodes, right? Anyone know where the rest are available? I want to see how he finds Gonzales.

OK I just finished watching the final episode of "The Mute Samurai" now I don't want to spoil this series for anyone, but I will say that I wish the Final fight would've been better especially since it was directed by MISUMI, Kenji who in my opinion is a great director. It wasn't that action packed as I thought it should've been but still a great episode. This series is a must own for any fan of WAKAYAMA, Tomisaburo. While some of the episode's are a little slow on action until the end of each episode they're are all great.

Merlin over @ SamuraiDVD.com has the entire series. :D
