Seth Gordon is set to direct the film with a script by Robert Ben Garant and Justin Malen. Series creator Michael Berk is serving as producer and executive producer on the film, which is being described as an action comedy. Officially cast:Dwayne JohnsonZac EfronAlexandra Daddario is playing Summer, the role originated by Nicole Eggert. Casting is underway for the role of C.J. Parker, the role immortalized by Pamela Anderson. While they didn't reveal characters names for Johnson and Efron, one can guess whether Johnson's character will be "Mitch Buchanan". And while Dwayne Johnson's character was not revealed, he revealed it in an Instagram video announcing Rohrbach's casting.
