From what I remember, this is actually a pretty good epic about the takeover of the Sung Dynasty by the Ching and two kids (Polly and Mang Fei) that were saved when the royal family was being killed. When they grow up they are trained in secret to be able to get revenge and I think the secret of who Mang Fei is is kept from him. It would be much better served in a remastered widescreen version as the version I saw was a pretty poor VHS fullscreen with the subs cut off on the sides which made it hard to see the film's full potential. I gave it a just above average rating, which would definitely go up if I was able to see it in full quality.

I remember to have enjoyed this movie when I watched it, but I saw it the same way as you, Panku, so, it was a little bit difficult to fully enjoy it...
