Actually, I don't even believe the introduction, claiming he began his martial arts hobby in street fighting. Dude was in movies as young as 8 years old.. There's so much bulls**t crculating about Bruce (in biopics, books or articles from the Internet) everything has to be taken with a big grain of salt. Member DragonClaws Posted October 24, 2015 Member Share Posted October 24, 2015 Bruce Lee was sent to America because of his fighting and to avoid getting in further trouble. From what I have read/heard in documentaries the HK police approached Lee's parents and said he was going to end up in jail he if carried on. He did win a boxing event at his school and there are pictures of this. I'm not sure how much of GD-YY post is fact?. Paimiefist makes a good point in his post too. I'm not sure if his real trouble with fighting started after his had stopped appearing in films as a youth?. The best people to answer this would be those who were around him at the time. Member ShawAngela Posted October 24, 2015 Member Share Posted October 24, 2015 I heard exactly the same story as the one mentioned by Dragonclaws in his post in a documentary and also, I heard in another one on French TV that maybe his death was related to the triads of martial arts schools who were angry because he was teaching martial arts to foreigners, but who knows the truth ; as Dragonclaws says, only people who were very close with him know the truth...
