ZATOICHI: The Festival Of Fire '70

Just watched this film again. First time I saw it I was disappointed. I expected director Misumi Kenji to be a little tighter with the story I guess and a bigger role from Tatsuya Nakadai. Tatsuya Nakadai kicked ass of course but was way too much a satellite character. I also felt the duel between Shintaro Katsu and Tatsuya Nakadai didn't give Nakadai the stature as a fighter he shoulfd have been given. Nakadai should of at least wounded Katsu during the final duel.

Even still, I must say I really enjoyed this film the second time around. It was great seeing Tatsuya Nakadai in a Zatoichi film. Not one of the best Zatoichi films but a must have for any of these two actors fans.

I thought this was one of the better films in the series,with the "Shogun of the Dark"
