Member LamLok Posted October 10, 2015 Member Share Posted October 10, 2015 You should try Samurai Fiction (aka SF: Episode One), but it's comedy mixed with unusual rock soundtrack. There is also Yamada Yoji's Twilight Samurai, which he followed with another two samurai films Hidden Blade and Love and Honor (I didn't saw the last one, so I'm not sure how good it is). Last film I can recommend is classic, but you probably saw it already, Kitano's Zatoichi.

Member venom10463 Posted October 23, 2015 Member Share Posted October 23, 2015 Sword of Desperation, one of the best 21st century samurai films I've watched. It's on-par with Yamada Yoji's Twilight Samurai, Hidden Blade, and Love and Honor.http://www.animeigo.com/products/samurai/sword-desperation
