Help with Identifying a Sony Chiba Yagyu series (movie?)

I saw a short film clip of Sonny Chiba as Yagyu Jubei recently

Can anyone tell me what series or film this scene is from?

Sonny Chiba as Yagyu Jubei is boken sparring with another swordsman.

The scene is near a pond.

Chiba hits the guy and the lord tells him to stop.

Chiba says "No, your stance is weak. You call yourself the head of warriors with that stance?"

Chiba pummels the guy.

Three swordsmen show up and one tells him "Have a taste of the Jien style"

Chiba whacks him in the head and the guy falls into the pond"

All hell breaks loose, the lord runs to him and tells Chiba to stop, but he throws his boken at him and they both draw swords, the lord manages to cut off Chibas topnot and eyepatch.

Chiba laughs at the crowd as they try to kill him.

Ok what film or series was this from?
