Member DragonClaws Posted April 18, 2017 Author Member Share Posted April 18, 2017 VHS cover for Ninja Avenger(1983) a.k.a Impossible Woman starring Elsa Yang. The same artwork, right down to the cast and crew have been used for this movie. The title and plot description are for an entirely different production.

Member lungfei Posted May 4, 2017 Member Share Posted May 4, 2017 for years i used to think this scene was a reshoot where they got wang tao back to fight ninjas to make ninja thunderbolt look like one continuous movie much like was done with city ninja but it appears to be a ninja movie of it's own. http://flkcinema.com/product.php?mid=93 http://hkmdb.com/db/movies/view.mhtml?id=10388&display_set=eng

Member DragonClaws Posted May 6, 2017 Author Member Share Posted May 6, 2017 (edited) Cool article on the short lived 80's action series The Master. While the 80's was a great time for action related T.V shows such as the A-Team and Airwolf, The Master was only a short lived series. Odd, when you consider how popular Martial Arts movies were at the time, in particular the Cannon ninja films. With U.S T.V companies and Fim studios re-making/re-booting old movies and shows, maybe this one might get an up-date?. Member DragonClaws Posted May 9, 2017 Author Member Share Posted May 9, 2017 VHS cover scan from VHSCollector.com Re-titled/re-packaging release of non nnja movie The Killer in White(1980) a.k.a Killer Wears White, starring Stephen Tung Wai & Roy Chiao. Yet another VHS release that exploited the 1980's ninja craze. The artwork appears to be inspired by both Enter The Nnja and Drunken Master. It's a decent Martil Art movie in its own right, but anyone expecting a ninja movie will be left disapointed.

It played theaters from 1983 through '85 under that title, but I think it's a re-titling of their 1974 release FORCED TO FIGHT, portions of which had been previously spliced into FIST OF FEAR, TOUCH OF DEATH (1980). Levene re-released it again in 1988 as BLOOD KICK and actually got it into a few of the same New York-area theaters that were showing BLOODSPORT! Quote We screened the first reel of a print with the BLOODKICK: KUNG-FU OF THE FIVE HAND NINJA GANG title card at an American Genre Film Archive event tonight, and I can confirm that it is indeed FORCED TO FIGHT (INVINCIBLE SUPER CHAN) http://templeofschlock.blogspot.co.uk/2010/08/random-movie-ads-martial-arts-edition.html http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:YBIqr2yDz2UJ:www.avmaniacs.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-27742.html%3Fs%3D2443f40adb91e46c7b7d40c0cff098e5+&cd=6&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk&client=firefox-b Edited May 10, 2017 by lungfei

The story is laborious to sit through, the choreography is awful. The only good thing about it is getting to see Stephen Hayes demonstrate some ninja techniques on film, and that's very limited.
