Guest Tosh
Can't really go wrong with any of these titles, though there are a few on my still need to see list - Harikiri imo would be at the top of this list, any list for that matter. Guest KevinClo
Harakiri Sword of Doom The Betrayal They are all good. The Akira Kurosawa movies on your list are epic and enjoyed by most people. KC

Guest vengeanceofhumanlanterns
Sword Of Doom The Betrayal Sleepy Eyes Of Death/Sword Of Adventure Would be a great start. But as Tosh said most of what is in that list should deliver if your truly into the old school samurai experience. Harakiri Sword Devil Sleepy Eyes Of Death/Sword Of Satan These would be my next in line. Kill is great too. For Toshiro Mifune: Zatoichi Meets Yojimbo is a must have classic. Guest Tosh
Does Rashomon qualify as a samurai film? I would say it is, though they weren't acting very Samurai at the end, I guess he wanted to show how two people may really act when they're running around trying to kill each other.
