Some of Betty's footage in Stoner was used in Bruce Lee: The Legend.

Samuel Hui seemed pretty innocent.........emphasis on pretty.

I now have a reason to watch this after buying it years ago.

I just got it. It's not a bad basher but lacks any real 'stars'. Some of the bad guys looked familiar including the guy who played the Judo master in One Armed Boxer. It's one of those 'spot-the-plot' type films but the there is plenty of basher action. The only negative really is the there are SO many kicks and punches that quite obviously don't connect yet have the sound effect imply that they do. The director/cinematographer should hang their heads in shame.

That's also weird. That said, I wonder what enticed Inosanto in being in The Chinese Stuntman.

Cold hard cash and a free trip overseas. Possibly hookers. The guy took Bruce Lee's art and name and used it as a platform to promote Filipino martial arts which had very, very little to do with Jun Fan Kickboxing. Dude was a nationalist/opportunist, hence we see few if any MMA people from JKD. Not a fan, sorry.

I want Deadly Strike in full scope.

Still waiting for an UNCUT release of this in the U.K, and the nunchaku film ban was lifted nearly twenty years ago.

I've got the german DVD which uses the same uk print but has the nunchaku scene intact from another source.

February 5 - 11, 1984 of The Philadelphia Inquirer's TV Week. It's nice that they included a shot of the real Bruce Lee so that the uninitiated would know better.

The following worn English dubbed WideScreen print of Fist of Fury 2 (1977), features the nunchaku footage, dodgy animal cruelty and various empty handed Martial Arts techniques missing from U.K cinema prints and more common heavily cut Britsh VHS prints. That sadly seemed to have saturated other home media markets.

Great film! Have you seen the alternate ending?

Would love to see it along with Lama Avenger as a double feature Blu-ray some day!

Is it Last Strike ? The French title doesn't match the Spanish title, and at the beginning, Ho Chung Tao tells Lo Meng that they have to avenge Bruce Lee !!

I saw the name of Carl Scott, so, I guess that ti's Last strike, but I may be mistaken.

Great idea, still many old school films that have yet to get a decent release. The up-coming Bruceploitation themed box-set should be really interesting.
