All the movies he has been a part of, choreographed, directed and even acted in, will live on forever. For us fans to enjoy now and for generations to come.

Of course for me his greatest contribution was his involvement in the 1978 film, The 36th Chamber of Shaolin.

RIP LKL!

the sentimental swordsman

a great man, the best choreographer of martial arts cinema.

He showed several generations of fans that kung fu is not only violence or revenge, but a way of life and respect for the people who surrounds us.

RIP Sifu.

Rest in peace one of Martial Art Cinemas greatest

I know it seems like people of the golden era are dying all the time but I must say Lau is the greatest to have died in my time of being a fan.

I will watch MAD MONKEY KUNG FU in his honour soon.

love fu long time

I haven't been around here for a while, but I just wanted to express my sorrow at the loss of so great a kung fu art and cinema legend and master. I subscribe to Silver & Gold Dragon's youtube page and when I got online this evening I saw the headline in the video dedication. I'm so sad to lose Lau Kar Leung, but I'm glad his film legacy lives on. My son and I need to watch one of his movies real soon. Now which one...?
