Guest morgoth
Killing Machine I always thought was CHiba's best performance ever. Also check out Shogun's Samurai, it gets better every time I watch it.
Guest venoms5
What about WOLF GUY: THE FLAMING LYCANTHROPE where Chiba is a cop in charge of a group of men that change into werewolves and set people on fire when they are touched. Apparently there was a VHS but a contact of mine hasn't been able to locate it. Anybody know?

Guest Master Chen
Shogun's Samruai is my favorite movie that Sonny Chiba Plays in. Although he does not play one of the major characters in the movie, he does play the samurai Jubei, which is just plain awesome.
Guest venoms5
The tv show YAGYU CONSPIRACY starring Chiba is even better than the movie.
Guest jirpy100
Just finished Fall of Ako Castle. I was half expecting an action film, but it turned out to be a rewarding historical drama. I love the formal dialogue, and ritualistic court scenes. The action was not spectacular on the whole, but there were a few good moments. Good, but long, film all around.
