Member ThunderScore Posted October 6, 2012 Member Share Posted October 6, 2012 Not sure if this has already been discussed, but I wonder how many ad campaigns have simply invoked the name of Bruce Lee in the promotion of their film which has absolutely nothing to do with any "Clones", let alone the genuine article. IMO, that's real Brucesploitation. Here's something to kick this off: For the record, this is actually the 1974 Barry Chan film THE BRAVE LION. Member ThunderScore Posted October 8, 2012 Author Member Share Posted October 8, 2012 Hmm, guess nobody's got anything to say about this... Okay then, how about campaigns in which the lead actor's image isn't even used:

Member ThunderScore Posted October 9, 2012 Author Member Share Posted October 9, 2012 That BL FIGHTS BACK FROM THE GRAVE art is freaking awesome, as is the trailer with voice over by the great Adolph Caesar. Here's another example of Brucesploitation without representation:

Too bad the movie doesn't even try to live up to expectation... The concept was interesting though.
Member ThunderScore Posted October 12, 2012 Author Member Share Posted October 12, 2012 The concept of totally misrepresenting the film probably helped it - It would have slipped beneath my radar...

Bad films (any bad products actually) need to be made more gorgeous than they truely are. (when I talked of "concept", I meant that of the film)
