'Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon' begin my love affair for Asian action cinema, but the English dubbed Shaw Brothers flick, '5 Fingers of Death' began my obsession for CLASSIC, OLD SCHOOL Kung Fu movies.

Call it KING BOXER as is only proper!

LOL, I first only knew it as "5 Fingers of Death", as that is the name that was on the DVD I had rented when I watched it, and I had NO IDEA about Kung Fu movies at that point, didn't even know what "Shaw Brothers" were yet.... :coveredlaugh

I gotta go with SMK, Mike - as when I first saw it in the theater, maybe '74?, I vividly remember the lurid billboard splash: Five Fingers of Death!!!

I think it was that pic with Lo with the glowing hands... :laugh
