Member Omni Dragon Posted February 20, 2011 Member Share Posted February 20, 2011 Who do you think are the best Kung Fu actors that never got to be in anything good?
Member Jadedragon61 Posted February 20, 2011 Member Share Posted February 20, 2011 You know, that's a damn good question that I will have to think over However, let me first answer with the reverse: The best non-martial artist to do MA films was David Carradine. I liked the guy as an actor, but, man, his technique sucked. Anyway, he was very helpful to the whole MA film trend
Member prinnysquad Posted February 20, 2011 Member Share Posted February 20, 2011 I've been impressed by Mike Wong in the films I've seen him in, but most of it has been Joseph Lai/ Godfrey Ho stuff. I don't really mind them, but it's a bit of a stretch to call them good.
Member TibetanWhiteCrane Posted February 20, 2011 Member Share Posted February 20, 2011 Good one, prinny! He came to mind for me as well. Although NINJA HUNTER was kinda fun in its own crappy way!
Member prinnysquad Posted February 20, 2011 Member Share Posted February 20, 2011 Ninja Hunter is a decent shout! I quite enjoyed 10 Shaolin Disciples as well. The majority of the film was terrible, but the final fight was superb. Mike Wong played a badass sat on a chair, and used a lever to get it to spin and move around. What an entertaining scene that was! [bBvideo 620,385] [/bBvideo]
