"The video's that I make about Fu Sheng are about his joy, skill, and grace as an actor, a martial artist, and as a human being. They are also about the hard work he put into his films and the fun I am sure he had. My intention and my hope is that if you see a video you like, you will watch the movie it is from, and if you have seen the movie, I hope you will want to watch it again. I also try never to show important plot points, or climatic scenes that might spoil your viewing of his films. I use screen capture photos, and each video has hundreds of photo's which are set to music. Fu Sheng is always the focal point of these videos, and they are timed to his performances. So keep your eye on him, and I hope you enjoy the results. The full screen options is available by clicking the 'flower-like square' and it will not take you from the forum page." There are three different video versions of the early work of Fu Sheng, and this is the first one of those (from August 2009). I chose this one to represent Four Riders (1972) and The Generation Gap (1973). The newest of the three is with Man of Iron (1972). The third version is with The Thunderbolt Fist (1972) in which Fu Sheng has very little screen time.

"This prime example of director/co-writer Chang Cheh's mastery takes place in Seoul right after the Korean War, as a kung fu master, combat instructor, explosives expert, and missile specialist must take on a venal drug smuggling gang. Representing the Book of Revelation's four riders of war, famine, disease, and death as heroes against murder, corruption, jealousy, and greed, it's a brutal battle where the one true winner is the audience."

Text from the back cover of the 2007 IVL edition of Four Riders .

WoBin'sMojo, to the best of my knowledge, shaw.intercontinental.com has the only available dvd's of Four Riders. I just checked their site, and it seems to be available, well, it let me put it in my cart and continue to checkout, so that is a good sign that they have it. It is Region 3 so hopefully you have an all region player, or maybe can use your computer to play it.

Also, if you have a dvd burner, I know that when you burn a copy, it becomes (the copy) 0 region and should play on just about anything.

I also checked http://fivestarlaser.com/, where I have purchased many dvd's, but they did not have it available.

I hope you are successful in tracking it down! Let me know what happens.

Thanks Marsharmony, I've actually managed to get this movie on ADC, :wink:wink:wink... I'm not to fond of those international shipping service, since I live in Texas and I know for sure it'll take decades to reach my house, stupid customs!!!!!! Does Fu Sheng do a lot of hand to hand fighting in this one??? I've never seen him in a military outfit before, looks cool.....

Dear WoBinsMojo! Fu Sheng is BARELY in this film, you have to pay attention to see him. My video above has all of his scenes from it. It is a Ti Lung, David Chiang, Chen Kuan Tai showcase, and then features Wang Chung quite a bit. It's still pretty action packed though, just not Fu Sheng action! I think you will enjoy the fights, there are lots of those! And it also features Yasuki Kurata!!!!

That's very kind of you to say, and I thank you.

I know you will enjoy the movie, you just can't go wrong with Ti Lung, David Chiang, Chen Kuan Tai, Wang Chung and Yasuki Kurata, with Chang Cheh directing! My only complaint about the movie (other than Fu's very small part, that is) is that the fashion's the women wear are from 1972, and certainly not from 1953! :coveredlaugh

I will have to check out ADC, thanks for bringing them to light!
