The guys over at Twitch have reported on a new family friendly multicultural superhero movie called 'The Green Ghost'. Mark Zaror is not only in the movie, but like his latest 'Redeemer' is also on fight choreography duty. Zaror will be joined by Danny Trejo, UFC star Cain Velasquez, and Kuno Becker.

The story concerns a 'gringo', who was raised by a Latino family, coming to the realization that they're all superheroes.

The character of the Green Ghost was apparently popular and Charlie Clark, who plays the character, is a Nissan dealer owner out of Texas who from the looks of it created the character for a Spanish-language series in 2004. :) The link has some information about the Green Ghost and Clark himself.

IMDB says The Green Ghost has a release date of December 21, 2018.  Plot synopsis - "This is the untold story of the true Mayan Apocalypse that has been misinterpreted by scholars and was to have taken place on 12/21/12 - that was obviously wrong.  A secret group of Mexican superheroes, known as El Trio de la Luz, are forced by destiny to include their adopted gringo into their group to join the fight to save humanity.  Will the car salesman and local TV personality carry his weight and transform from  the GRINGO into the GREEN GHOST?  We shall see..."  Cast includes Charlie Clark, Danny Trejo, Michelle Lee, Marko Zaror, and Cain Velasquez.  The reminder about this film came from https://filmcombatsyndicate.com/five-a-day-countdown-hollow-point-invincible-the-green-ghost-kickboxer-armageddon-and-kung-fu-league/    The trailer is on Youtube at -

It's finally being released on April 29th under the title Green Ghost and the Masters of the Stone from Gravitas Ventures

In a Texas border town, car salesman Charlie (CHARLIE CLARK) moonlights as a masked Lucha libre wrestler going by the name “Green Ghost.” When unknown assailants arrive seeking an otherworldly emerald, Charlie discovers that he has super powers. As he learns to fight from the unconventional Master Gin (action film legend DANNY TREJO), Charlie is told that he’s part of a secret warrior “triad of light” with his childhood friend Marco (KUNO BECKER) and Marco’s sister Karina (SOFIA PERNAS) led by La Nana (RENEE VICTOR). Together, they’ve been chosen to protect humanity from Drake (MARKO ZAROR), the embodiment of the Mayan apocalypse. As a stargate is opened in a Mexican pyramid, Drake seeks the power to destroy humankind — and Charlie, linked to the power of the emerald, is the only one who can stop him. Charlie must harness both his physical and mystical strength to save humanity and go from Gringo to Green Ghost. In the style of comedy-horror martial-arts movies of the 1970s and ’80s, director Michael D. Olmos’ GREEN GHOST AND THE MASTERS OF THE STONE is a comedic anti-hero action movie filled with adventure for the entire family.

I saw the movie and it's actually pretty good for its intended audience. It's definitely a family friendly film and has some pretty decent fight scenes, especially when you have Andy Cheng, Arnold Chon, and Marko Zaror among the cast. Danny Trejo provides his usual style as the "drunken master" Master Gin. He even has a reference to one of his most iconic roles. Robert Rodriguez's band even does a Spanish version of "Eye of the Tiger" in the film's soundtrack. I enjoyed the film, some of you guys may not, but I had fun watching it.
