Member OpiumKungFuCracker Posted March 30, 2015 Member Share Posted March 30, 2015 It's fucking awesome. The first Iranian Vampire Western ever made, Ana Lily Amirpour’s debut basks in the sheer pleasure of pulp. A joyful mash-up of genre, archetype, and iconography, its prolific influences span spaghetti westerns, graphic novels, horror films, and the Iranian New Wave. _YGmTdo3vuY

Member OpiumKungFuCracker Posted March 30, 2015 Author Member Share Posted March 30, 2015 Awesome brother. A quick warning, there is little to no dialogue in the film. I wouldn't say it's a slow burner type more like a therapeutic and somber atmosphere, a little ambient vibe you will but the photography and imagery in this movie is absolutely gorgeous even in black and white. If you are MPM74 or Big Rogie you will hate this movie because there's not a lot of gore and boom boom action. It's very hipsterish, if you own a record player, wear tight jeans and a top hat and listen to indie fart music, you will enjoy this movie.
