Moderator One Armed Boxer Posted March 7, 2015 Moderator Share Posted March 7, 2015 I recently got through watching this one, the debut feature of director Jeong Joo-ri, a student of Lee Chang-dong, it stars Bae Doo-na from 'Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance' and Kim Sae-ron from 'A Man from Nowhere'. Definitely one of the best movies I've seen of late, I have a feeling 'A Girl at My Door' will be a safe contender to be on my list of best movies watched in 2015. I posted a full review which can be checked out via the below link - http://www.cityonfire.com/a-girl-at-my-door-review-2014-bae-doo-na/ ysdz5A-fszY

Member Keung Posted March 7, 2015 Member Share Posted March 7, 2015 I recently watched it, too. The abusive fathers overacting bothered me a bit, but otherwise a good film. Kim Sae-ron is a little starlet! I've heard it's been picked for UK distribution by Peccadillo Pictures, so I'll definitely upgrade from my Korean DVD if they release a Blu-ray.
