Member inframan Posted February 13, 2015 Member Share Posted February 13, 2015 How often do you get to see VHS only classics on the big screen? Luckily I have Monday off so I'm planning on checking this out: http://drafthouse.com/movies/american-commando-ninja/austin https://vimeo.com/114823204
Member Reel Power Stunts Posted February 13, 2015 Member Share Posted February 13, 2015 At the Prince Charles Cinema in London, they occasionally project VHS tapes of B films. I'm not sure "American Commando Ninja" is a Godfrey Ho movie. Isn't it a low budget, shot-on-video, Taiwan offering starring Meng Fei?
Member Secret Executioner Posted February 13, 2015 Member Share Posted February 13, 2015 Yeah, the title of this film doesn't ring a bell...
Member inframan Posted February 13, 2015 Author Member Share Posted February 13, 2015 I did a little searching and an alternate title may be: Key To Vengeance
Member ThunderScore Posted February 13, 2015 Member Share Posted February 13, 2015 IIRC, Godfrey Ho was no longer at IFD when this title (aka COMMANDO THE NINJA) was released. There's a lot of misinformation on the internets regarding Mr. Ho's filmography and there are more than a few titles with "Ninja" in them incorrectly credited to him, both from Joseph Lai's IFD and Tomas Tang's Filmark (where Godfrey Ho states he's never worked)... watch?v=j3VaZeHmgl4
