She was very bewitching IMO.

Some of her movies were a little over the TOP for me.

I am going ask about movies of hers I have not seen.

1.Lonely Famous Sword (1980)

I quite like China Armed Escort which was great fun and with a genuinely menacing turn from often underutilized Tsai Hung. Based off the series which made Pearl a star and her first real starring role.

The Invincible Swordswoman is supposed to be its sequel, although I haven't seen it. But you get Yueh Hua, Chung Wa and Lo Lieh, which is a pretty stellar lineup for a '70s Taiwanese indie.

More importantly, both films are available in solid widescreen 35mm-derived bootlegs, so look for them.

Cold Bishop

I can get only two of these w/ subs.

And one without subs.

The rest nobody has in their collections of rares to sell.

China Escort

The YouTube version has the subs cropped.

The other available which I can get and will is:

The Invincible Swordswoman (1977)

You are right with Yueh Hua, Chung Wa and Lo Lieh how can one go wrong except if the print is not that good.

Thanks for your advice.

The other of the three is War of the Boundary but sadly no subs.

China Armed Escort was released by RAREKF in WS, uncut. Source used was 35 mm reels. Same thing for Invincible Swordswoman. I have both.

Question:

Is Rare Kung Fu Movies still in business?

Web link:

http://rarekungfumovies.com/

Where is it located.

Is this the infamous Falkors gig?

The reason I ask is because I can use it for a source to find movies as I do with HKMDB then go too my favorite dealer in rare kung fu movies?

Yes, falkor's site. Don't think he sells anymore.

He's on FB a lot though if you have a Q for him....

I love China Armed Escort. I think it's my favorite kung fu movie of all time. Even the little things about it I love like that old sifu who appears as a head in the sky to spout wisdom when she's training in the forest. It's just perfect. Pearl Cheung Ling is so stunning.

China Armed Escort has a sequel named Invincible Swordswoman which is great.
