Moderator One Armed Boxer Posted January 25, 2015 Moderator Share Posted January 25, 2015 For anyone who missed the masterpiece of Korean cinema that was 'D-Wars' (http://www.kungfucinema.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1397), comedian turned director turned criminal Shim Hyung-rae has apparently been thrown a lifeline by China of all places, who will be providing finance for him to make a sequel. Plot details so far suggest it will take place during the Cold War era in 1969, at the time when Russa and the US are racing against each other for the first moon landing. Can we surmise from this that we may be getting some dragon-on-the-moon action? Time will tell. It'll be interesting to see how this one pans out, especially considering the last Korean monster movie sequel that China played a significant part in, 'The Host 2', seems to have all but disappeared without a trace.
