Member KyFi Posted December 9, 2014 Member Share Posted December 9, 2014 I probably own about 90% of the Shaw movies that I want, and haven't placed a DDDhouse order in a year or so-- but I put one in today to pick up a few odds and ends that I didn't have and that DDDhouse DID still have. So, I got: * Asia-Pol * The Casino * Vengeful Beauty I haven't seen any of them, but given the descriptions I'm sure I'll enjoy all three. Any opinions on these? Yueh Hua is in it & Lo Lieh is actually the dad of Wang Lung Wei's character, who was a brother & sister - Lam Fei Wong & Shaw Yin Yin.. I liked it more than I thought I would, very nice sets pieces. You can watch Vengeful Beauty without having seen Flying Guillotine but it is interesting how the two are tied-in together. But, VB is a pretty kick-ass film. Jimmy Wang Yu's first modern actioner, Nikkatsu co-production, Jo Shishido as the villain, location shooting instead of sets. Even if it's not that great a movie, sounds like there's enough stuff to make it cool. Huh, did DDDHouse get more Celestial stock in at some point? I'm pretty sure that both Asia-Pol and Vengeful Beauty were out of stock there a year or so ago, and I assumed they weren't coming back. I got angry guest from there some months ago and they even had once super-rare secret service of imperial court re-listed.
