Member NoKUNGFUforYU Posted December 5, 2014 Member Share Posted December 5, 2014 I saw this very short clip on youtube. The guy is doing a project to sub this flick, which is a really nice print (sadly, not widescreen). Anyway, check out and give him a thumbs up and subscribe. Anyone who is trying to do this for these rare, quality martial arts dramas. IcKq1WRhoUw
Moderator One Armed Boxer Posted December 5, 2014 Moderator Share Posted December 5, 2014 Hey NKFFU....I have this custom project, it was made by Toby Russell, who was the guy behind the now defunct Vengeance Video label. It's $25 which includes worldwide shipping, and he e-mails you a reversible cover sleeve and a label for the DVD itself. You can reach Toby on his Facebook page here - https://www.facebook.com/toby.russell.90 Forum member shapes also seems to work for Toby, if it's not the alias for Toby himself, I've never bothered to confirm. He's also just released 2 more custom projects, 'A Pearl in Command' & 'The Kung Fu Monk'.

Moderator One Armed Boxer Posted January 14, 2015 Moderator Share Posted January 14, 2015 Hey GD Y-Y, this movie is 'The Last Kung Fu Monk', a flick from 2010. There's a thread here - http://www.kungfucinema.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14704 Very different to the other movie which you've posted, which actually goes under the more popular title of 'The Monk' from 1975 - http://www.hkcinemagic.com/en/movie.asp?id=2322 A PEARL IN COMMAND WARNING: CHINESE AUDIO ONLY - NO ENGLISH AUDIO - NO ENGLISH SUBTITLES SPECS: FULL SCREEN format - Region ALL NTSC - Fair to good print. Best viewed on smaller screens. The version Toby has is a custom subtitled version, definitely a movie you'd enjoy based on your previous choices! Member NoKUNGFUforYU Posted January 14, 2015 Author Member Share Posted January 14, 2015 I went ahead and got all 3 of the movies. All very good copies. I understand he is doing Mallow Forest next. There are quite a few good Cathay movies.
