Member AlbertV Posted December 1, 2014 Member Share Posted December 1, 2014 zWh23E26MPI Hey guys, Well, on Saturday, I received a free DVD in the mail courtesy of John Kreng, the author of Fight Choreography: The Art of Non-Verbal Dialogue. The DVD I received: the official DVD release of the 2012 film Battle B-Boy. For the newbies, this film revolves around five young people who learn the art of "da-fi" (dance fighting) to raise money when the leader's father needs heart surgery. They get help from an old acquaintance of the leader's father. Their mentor is played by none other than John Kreng himself. Think of the dance battles in films like YOU GOT SERVED and STEP UP, but they get to actually make contact and get to beat each other up! Kreng also served as a producer and was the fight choreographer of the film, training the cast of the film. This official DVD includes deleted scenes, a "stunt boot camp", and much more. The DVD was released this past October. I reviewed the film upon its initial release in late 2012 but I will be reviewing the new DVD itself this week.
