That was an awful movie. Leaden direction, terrible writing, indifferent acting (at least from the Caucasian cast), almost non-existent plot, scenes that drag on and on for no reason, and the list goes on. On every technical and artistic level the film is a failure. The fighting isn't any more or less competent than any other basher from that period. Thompson Kao plays a low-rent Chan Sing. Jason Pai Piao is a solid screen fighter, but the film on the whole is dross.
