Ah, The Leg Fighters came to my mind as well. I guess I'm kind of a sucker for any film that begins with the star(s) demonstrating forms. So much the better if there is spaghetti western music and/or a narrator describing the style (no matter how fictitious or silly). Lee Tso Nam's films generally had great intros. Also, Billy Chong's!

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Dirty Ho, Hand of Death, The Hot the Cool and the Vicious, or Invincible Armour.

Other movies that come to mind are Five Element Ninjas, Ninja in the Dragon's Den, Once Upon a Time in China, Shaolin and Wu Tang, Snake and Crane Arts of Shaolin, and Snake in the Eagle's Shadow.

All of them are awesome. I can't choose a favorite.

Shaolin & wutang

So many movies have great sequences during the opening credits but Shaolin and Wu-Tang definately stands out for sure.

Yep, lots of great ones for sure. Pretty much the LKL Shaws films. Bruce Lee HK films. I really liked Gallants (2010) and The Forbidden Kingdom.

You know what jumped out to me was Deaf Mute Heroine. The other choices above are good as well.

You beat me to it. The whole film had a gory, dreamlike feel to it and that opening sequence really nailed it.
