Are these good versions to get? I had no problem with it but then again I am watching it on an 24" screen. I have not heard anything good about the picture quality of that set. (I know you said that you do not have the money now to do it but it would probably be worth the wait. Not sure if the Columbia Tristar versions are cut or not. Cant remember.) I was happy with it and I don't remember it being cut. Sound and picture aren't great but it could be a lot worse. I don't know why but I sold it and I now have the 3 individual releases. It also features a cut English version which I thought was very interesting to watch. I would agree that the picture and audio quality isn't very good but it should suit those who just want to watch the movie. I have the Dragon Dynasty DVD of 36th Chamber and it's a great release. A lot of cool special features and great video quality. Definitely recommended though I don't own the blu-ray. The Police Story double feature is great too. It has some cool special features but the video quality isn't very good for a blu-ray. The 2.0 audio tracks are also down-mixs of a 5.1 track which is a bit distracting but I'm not picky.
