The scene with James Nam swinging a chain whip around is unfortunately missing. This film should not be confused with another filmed called Hong Kong Connection featuring James Nam in a different role (AKA Bloody Street). Supposedly the film Edge of Fury has also gone under the title Hong Kong Connection at some point.

Maybe it has already been posted, I didn't read the whole thread, but I just found this :

The quality print doesn't seem to be so bad, and it looks interesting.

With Adam Cheng singing the theme, and James Bond theme during a boat pursuit !!

Yep, we do. Nice try though. :)

I keep on hearing how "bad" this movie is. To me, it looks exactly like I'd expect. Take my money.

It looks bad...but when has that ever stopped me?

Exactly. lol Who the hell wants a "good" sequel to a "bad" Bruce Lee movie that's one of my favorites of all time.

I would love to see this from Pearl River! Even though we're still waiting for Duel of the 7 Tigers. There was a teaser about Exit the Dragon, Enter the Dragon qswell awhile back..

From the 10 minute clip Globe posted years back, the film doesn't look all that great; however, I still want to see this and would welcome a DVD release. Now we just need Magic Ring and Tiger Boy and my curiosity will be sated.

I'm always onboard for lost media being recovered and released to the public.  But I can't help but feel disheartened that it's now more likely for The Big Boss Part II to finally get a home release than the actual theatrical cut of the real Big Boss.

In his last podcast a couple months ago, MW mentioned he's still working on Duel of the 7 Tigers and was in the process of interviewing some of the stars for the extras. Perhaps Cliff Lok or Casanova Wong? He also said he's supposed to meet up with Carl Scott for an interview and has lined up some new scans of Dragon Lee movies and hinted they would be released on Severin films as is his much anticipated Bruceploitation documentary.

I'm flying to L.A. for the BIG BOSS 2 screening.  Nothing else to do that day!

Nice. I remember you as an old school fan so will be good to get your thoughts on the film.

These movies were VERY cheap to begin with.

In an old issue of Martial Arts Movies, it was mentioned that the average budget was US$ 200,000.

It's not good but can be enjoyed on an Ed Wood level.  Lots of unintentional laughs but the fights are decent with one really good one in the casino/night club.

How does it compare to the original Big Boss in terms of violence and nudity?

Violence: it's Disney level compared to the original.  Nudity: there's slightly more with Lo getting down with the crime boss lady, but nothing excessive.
