Wondering who here goes way back in the day in San Francisco Chinatown. I was a young white kid, crazy about Kung Fu, that used to stick out like a sore thumb.

I phrased that badly, I should have asked, anyone here that watched these flicks in the 70's when they came out, and where? Oh well.

I went to many movies in Chinatown San Francisco in the 80's as well as In Boston's Chinatown also in the 80's.

It was a real joy to see some Taiwanese swordplay movie in Frisco.

Yes, Great Star was almost all Shaws, Sunsing Golden Harvest, Bella Union First Films and other independent companies, and the Pagoda was all over the map. The Pagoda got the best snack bar award from the bay guardian.
